One of the landmarks of Wilton is the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church built by the Ukrainians who fled from economic conditions in Ukraine in search of freedom long before the communist revolution.  The church was built in the early 1900's and consists of a cruciform building with three steeples each bearing the Greek Slavonic cross, symbolic of the Trinity.  The church currently closed. The Chuch is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
